Drilling Deeper

Numac Drilling was formed in 1998 by Chris McMullen, whose vision of creating a niche service in environmental and geotechnical drilling grew out of his first-hand experience of what does and doesn’t work in the drilling industry.

Originally from Western Australia, Chris travelled the globe for many years working in the drilling industries of Australia, Vietnam, Phillippines and Africa. This diverse experience helped him identify the need for a more personal and dedicated drilling service for local consultants and major oil companies. The company began with little more than a single drilling rig and an entrepreneurial spirit, but over the years it has grown to become a leader in the Australian drilling industry.

Today, Numac has offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, and companies across the country rely on the expertise, friendly service, and determination to do the job right that have epitomised Numac since the day it began.
