Rigs as Good as Our People

Numac’s capabilities are centered around using Geoprobe and Boart Longyear machines. The heavy duty Geoprobe rigs are mounted with both a powerful direct push percussion hammer for fast intact soil sampling and profiling, and a rotary drilling head for augering when necessary. The Boart Longyear rigs offer geotechnical capability with wireline and conventional coring, as well as down the hole, rotary and auger drilling methods.

All Numac rigs are compact and track-driven, meaning they can be manoeuvred into tight locations on almost any site. Transported either by tilt tray, fully enclosed curtain or panel sided rigid truck for security or our "Rig in a Box" model, Numac can rapidly deploy resources to any geographical location around Australia.
